2024 Awards & Promotional Ceremony

The Pearl River Police Department proudly held its Awards and Promotional Ceremony on Friday, May 24, 2024. During this special event, several outstanding officers were recognized for their dedication and achievements.

• Reserve Officer of the Year: John Davis
• Traffic Enforcement Award: Officer Gerald Young (Certificate of Merit)
• Criminal Arrest Award: Officer Cameron Hillhouse (Certificate of Merit)
• Administrative Employee of the Year: Administrative Officer Amanda Dean
• Commendations: Dylan Alquist, Sean Dancer, Cameron Hillhouse, Sgt. Herrmann, Desi Royer
• Community Service Award: Sergeant William LaBiche
• Captain Steven Gaudet Jr. Memorial Plaque and Award: Officer John Polk

Promotions:

• Sergeant John Davis was promoted to Lieutenant.
• Sergeant Mike Alquist was promoted to Lieutenant.
• Sergeant Peter Herrmann was promoted to Master Sergeant.
• Captain David Dean was promoted to Major.
